We are ready for spring!
Now that we have a dog...I have a great excuse to get Cameron to go on walks with me. =) It was even his idea this time. LoL! Erica also got a bike for her birthday a few weeks ago, so we all took a trip around the block.
Suprise!
We have just increased the size of our family by 2! First we agreed to go and get a guinea pig for our girls. Sam named him Bugsy. They like to chase him around under the table.
Then about a week later Cameon suprised us all with Scout. He is a beautiful Golden retriever that is about six months old. He is very good tempered and even though I've never been much of a pet person I can't help but love this dog. The girls and Cameron are all very excited to have him around too. Welcome to the family Scout!

Improvements...sort of.
Erica has improved upon her dance outfit! It is so adorable I couldn't help but post this for you all to enjoy!
I do promise to dress her better when we go to real dance lessons in the spring. =) You just have to love her creativity.

Dancing in style!
So it looks like Erica is ready to be enrolled in dance classes with her older sister this year. A few days ago she was in her room and created this beautiful dance outfit all by herself. =) Oh and once it is on she won't take it off.
Her newest move is to stick out her foot and then she points and flexes it. Then she'll do it double time. It is hilarious.

Impromtu naps.
Normally my kids don't take naps. Samantha is in school now and just doesn't take them anymore. Erica has never really taken very good naps and most days she just does without or maybe she'll snag a 15 minute nap in the car traveling between places but that is about it. However, Christmas and all the activities that go along with it sure has worn them down because today they both decided to put themselves down for a nap. They had been playing really good together but when I went to check on them, this is what I found.
Samantha, the responsible one, climbed into bed.
Erica, the athletic one, litterally climbed up onto the shelf and passed out.
It's hard to get upset with her when it's just so darn cute!
Look I'm skating!
So I have to say...this was an awesome christmas party and another first for both of my kids. They were both very brave and gave ice skating a try. Samantha didn't enjoy it very much but Erica did a lot and kept shouting at the top of her lungs "look I'm skating!" to anybody that would listen.
Mom and Dad did most of the work (our backs were killing us the next day) but she did really well at staying calm and keeping her skates straight so she could just glide along.
She was really upset when it was time to leave. But then again there isn't anything a green cupcake can't fix! =)
